Michael Barbato Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Barbato of Sayreville, New Jersey, who passed away on January 20, 2022 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmelo Barbato and Gandolfa Barbato (Volante); his wife Elvira (Tucci); and his siblings, Suzy Portella, Jenny Mascola, Josie Monticchio, Lucy Kaplan, Carmella Ventre, Pat Barbato, Bernard Barbato and Charles Barbato.
He is survived by: his children, Evelyn (Raymond Kersting) and Carmen Michael (Christina Barbato); his grandchildren, Mary Kate Kersting, Lauren Barbato, Lee Ann Hernandez and Michael Barbato; and his great grandchildren, Brittany and Brad Perkins. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Michael's name to Fisher House Foundation.
