With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joanna Thomore of Sayreville, New Jersey, born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on March 27, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Steven; and her parents, Carl DeFazio and Elizabeth DeFazio. She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Thomore (Cheryl) of East Brunswick, David Thomore (Diane) of Venice, FL and Karen Maida (Joseph) of East Brunswick; her brother Carl DeFazio (Dottie) of Spotswood; her grandchildren, Erin, Carl, Taryn, Celestine, David, Danielle, Jeremy (Arielle) and Giavanna; and her great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Addelyn, Nicholas and Noah.
