He is survived by: his son Thomas H. Donelson, Jr. (Suzanne Robinson) of Pennsville; his grandchildren, Thomas James, Jordan Thomas, Kayla Raine and McKenzie Rose; and his siblings, Betty Carr of Canton, Glen Donelson (Elaine) of Pennsville, Samuel Donelson (Pat) of Cherry Hill, Joseph Donelson of Quinton, David Donelson of Canton, Janice Mitman of Angola, IN and Nancy Roberts of Pennsville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
