She was predeceased by: her parents, Bessie Giles (Waters) and Percy Giles; her niece Marpessa Kupendua; and her sister Rev. Nyada Clarke. She is survived by: her niece Roxanne Bunting; and her cousin Patricia McElveen. She is also survived by cousins and friends.
