He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline "Holmes" Colon of Salem, NJ.; his sons, Norman (April), Chris Colon, John "Sita" Colon Sr. A and Luis "Tito" Lianos; his siblings, Severiano "Lito" Cruz (Ruthie) of Puerto Rico, Beatriz Cruz of Puerto Rico, Carmen D. Cruz of Puerto Rico and Mercedes Cruz (Juan) of Puerto Rico; his grandchildren, Marques Johnson, Tyneshia Holmes, Satina Colon, John Colon, Jr., Dashae Wallace and Darell Wallace; his brothers-in-law, James, Melvin (Rosalyn), David (Rebecca), Terry Holmes (Lori), Juan Matos and Ivan Matos; his goddaughter Cassey Alberto; and his friends, Danny, Rocky, Hector and Miguel.
