He was predeceased by: his parents, Trina Meima Belanus and Cornelius Belanus Sr.; his wife Beatrice Christina Streelman (Streelman); and his siblings, Clarence Belanus, Jeannette DeJong, Ruth Kroon and Julie Belanus.
He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Belanus (Anne) of Stillwater Oklahoma and Lois Bockmann (Wayne) of Raleigh, N. C.; his sister Florence Degelman of West Milford, N. J.; his grandchildren, Kim Smith (Shane), Steven Bockman, Brian Belanus (Micah) and David Belanus; his friends, Neil and Dutch; and his niece Carol Meyer (Bea). He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
