He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Sedlak and Helen Sedlak; and his siblings, John, Michael Jr., Nicholas, Paul Sedlak and Helen Manz.
He is survived by: his wife Gudrun Sedlak of Saddle Brook; his children, Steve Sedlak (Bett) of Washington Twp and Christine Mania (Michael) of Bayville, NJ; and his grandchildren, Christine Noel, Michael III, Ryan, Brendan, Stephanie and Sean.
