He was predeceased by: his wife Dolores; his parents, Cecil Pickett and Mary Pickett; his sister Pauline "Polly" Pickett; and his brother-in-law John Bonelli.
He is survived by: his children, Bruce Pickett (Susan), Gary Pickett, Gina Galvin and Thomas Galvin; his grandchildren, Brianna Galvin, Mackenzie Galvin (Carl Russo), Byron Pickett, Katherine Pickett and William Pickett (Jessica Polmann); his great grandchild Liam Pickett; his siblings, Paul Pickett (Claudia), Patricia Keogan, Elizabeth Pisa (Al), Cecilia Santiago and Helga Farley; and his siblings-in-law, Linda DeSanto (Gary) and Amby Capabianca, Jr.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
