With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joaquin Lastra of Saddle Brook, New Jersey, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on May 20, 2023 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joaquin Lastra to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his former wife Clara; and his brothers, Lorenzo, Celestino and Fernando. He is survived by: his wife Rosemarie; his children, John (Cathy), Robert (Susan) and Susan Fantacone (John); and his stepdaughter Debra Tufaro. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
