He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Max Atkins and Sadie Atkins (Kleiner); his former wife Bea Pomerantz; his wife Diana Speranza; his sister Verna Atkins; his sons, David (Virginia Hutch) of Stamford Connecticut and Bobby (Elizabeth Hayt) of New York City; and his grandson Hunter Atkins of Houston.
