He was predeceased by: his father Enrique Ortiz; and his brother Jimmy Ortiz. He is survived by: his mother Amparo Acevedo Ortiz; and his sisters, Margaret Lopez (Jesus), Sunty Ortiz, Judy Kostnicka (Joe) and Sally Ortiz. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
