She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Cappiello and Mary Cappiello; her husband Roland Vernieri; and her brother Joseph. She is survived by: her daughter Barbara Mackenzie (Robert); her siblings, Helen Konovitch, Theodore Connotillo, Louis, George and James Cappiello; her grandson Robert Mackenzie, II (Lauren); and her great grandchildren, Sloane and Dean.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN. 38105 would be appreciated.
