He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Rufrano and Giovanina "Jennie" Rufrano; and his sister Mary Rickett. He is survived by: his brother Sebastian "Jim" Rufrano (Roswitha "Rose"); his brother-in-law Walter Rickett; his nephews, Michael Rufrano and David Rufrano; his niece Diane Oberlin (Allen); and his great-nieces, Ava and Olivia.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Aloia Funeral Home (180 Harrison Ave, Garfield, NJ 07026). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Nicholas Cemetery (2 Terrace Ave, Lodi, NJ 07644).
