It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vera L. Ponti (Rutherford, New Jersey), born in Queens, New York, who passed away on December 11, 2020, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Rotter and Joan Rotter (McDonald). She is survived by: her husband Charles Ponti, Jr.; her daughters, Nicole Ponti and Danielle Sweeney (Michael Sweeney); her grandsons, Nathan and Grant; her brother Christopher Rotter (Sara Simmons); her niece Hadley Rotter; and her sisters-in-law, Geraldine Ponti and Rosemary Hyland. She is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
