With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael E. Lucas of Rutherford, New Jersey, born in Garfield, New Jersey, who passed away on March 9, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph and Mary (Buday); his wife Helen (Gallahue); and his siblings, George, Joseph and Marie Watterston.
He is survived by: his children, Laura Sanderson (Steven) of Succasunna, Joseph Lucas (Marci) of Saratoga Springs, NY, Lisa Lucas (Ken) of Sheffield, MA and Ginny Lucas (Chris) of Flemington; his grandchildren, Ryan, Brendan, John, Daniel, Kyra, Aron and Destin; his great grandchild Nevaeh; and his sister Barbara Filippelli of North Haledon.
