He is survived by: his wife Susan; his children, Michael (Lauren) and Amanda Rienstra; his grandchildren, Emma and Ryan; his sisters, Ruth Ann Salmanowitz (James) and Eleanor Ariemma; and his nephews, Brian (Laura), Douglas (Tina), Scott and John (Alexis).
