It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Loucakis (Rutherford, New Jersey), born in New York, New York, who passed away on July 1, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Louca Loucakis and Marion Gunther; and her friend Tom Cerone.
Upon retiring, Irene donated selflessly to many Catholic Charities, the American Foundation for the Blind, North Shore Animal Shelter, St. Jude's and many more.
