As Anna departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Anna may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Anna leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carmine Battista and Angelina Battista. She is survived by: her husband Jim; her brother Donato; her children, Lisa (Dave McDonald) and John (Nicole); and her grandchildren, Kylie and Luke McDonald.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home (19 Lincoln Ave, Rutherford, NJ 07070). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Church of Saint Mary (91 Home Ave, Rutherford, NJ 07070). A burial was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (340 Ridge Rd, North Arlington, NJ 07031).
