He is survived by: his spouse Jeanne; his children, Kim Gerardi (Mike) and Kate Scully; his grandchildren, Katie Rose, Ben, Anna, Olivia and Abby; his siblings, Carl and John; and his siblings-in-law, Jim McCartney, Jane Wright (Bob), Marie Andrews and Jack McCartney.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in William's name to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Drive, Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053.
