He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Terri; his children, Jennifer Hammett, Christine Hammett, Angela Fitzgerald (Mike), Rachel Woolson (John), Wayne Hammett Jr., Emily Hammett and Lisa Hammett; his mother Ethel Young; and his siblings, Joyce Miller, Roger Hammett and David Hammett. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
