He was predeceased by: his sister Patricia Bendig. He is survived by: his wife Anne "Nancy" Nimmo; his children, Theresa Hannigan, Helen Schamburg, Bob Nimmo (Karen) and Michael Nimmo (Maureen); his great grandchildren, Adam, Kenzie, Joey, Aiden, Logan, Theo, Anthony, Ellianna, Andrew and James; and his sister Mary Jane Russo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
