He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Violet; his children, Linda Salamone (Joseph) and Joseph Garbarino Jr., MD; his grandsons, Philip Salamone (Terri) and Joseph Salamone II (Jovita); his great grandchildren, Joesian, Xavier, Stephen, Nicholas, Kara and Grace; and his brothers, Anthony Garbarino (Margaret) and Leonard Garbarino (late Gloria).
