He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Dougherty and Margaret Dougherty; and his siblings, Theresa, Charles, Marie and James.
He is survived by: his children, Debra Dougherty (Jim), Denise Canale (William), Joseph Dougherty (Brian) and Gina Preston; and his grandchildren, Joey, Jimmy, Shannon, James, Kristopher, William (Mallory) and Kelly (Nick). He is also survived by his 6 great-grandchildren.
