He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Josephine McGowan; his daughters, Kathleen McGowan-Sluggett (Greg) and Eileen Cook; his son-in-law Sean Cook; his siblings, Thomas McGowan and Harold McGowan; his family Marylou Hoskins; and his parents, Day and Kathleen. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
