He was predeceased by: his stepchild Jackie Spratt (Pat); his brother William Rutter (late Patricia); his parents, Louis Rutter and Edith Rutter; and his close friend Jackie Bartello.
He is survived by: his close friend Joyce Palm; his children, Nicky Rutter (Marean Thomas) and James Rutter Jr.; his stepchildren, Jody Barilotti (Fred), Michael Bartello and Eric Bartello; his grandchildren, Sydney, Nicholas, Christian and Alexa; his sisters, Florence DeColli (late Richard) and Ginger Routzahn (late David); and his close friend Joanna Rutter (Lombardo). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jimmy's memory to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
