She was predeceased by: her husband Cornelius P. Burns; and her granddaughter Samantha Ellen. She is survived by: her children, Neil Burns (Suzette), Michael Burns (Maureen) and Denise Burns-Jennings (Brian); her grandchildren, Ryan, Jonathan, Emma, Bridget, Brandon and Connor; and her siblings, Bill Santarlasci Jr. (Geneva) and Teresa Anastasia (Tom). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
