He was predeceased by: his son Mike Moffit. He is survived by: his wife Joan Moffit; his children, George Moffit Jr. (Maria) and Debbie Moffit; and his siblings, Butch Seyka, Sandy Whitaker (Dan), Sheri Amon (Marty), Kevin Moffit (Vickki), Mike Moffit (Lori) and Ricky Moffit. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
