She was predeceased by: her child Kyle; and her parents, Andrew and Claire. She is survived by: her husband Dave; her sons, David, Jr. (Miriam), Stephen and Andrew Waer; her grandson Lincoln; and her siblings, Andrew Devecchio, Jr. (Susan), John Devecchio (Anna Marie) and Patty Zuzulock (John). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers family requests donations be made in Catherine's memory to Trinity Lutheran Church ATTN: Property Committee, at the address above or American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).
