She was predeceased by: her parents, Fredrick F. Farwell and Helen Farwell (Mawhinney); her husband William R. Murphy; her son William R. "Dobber" Murphy III; her grandson Travis J. Sherman; and her brothers, Fredrick F. "Fritz" Farwell and Robert S. Farwell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Bambi L. Lombardy (Francis) of Middletown and Marie Marrazzo (Jeffrey) of Red Bank; her daughter-in-law Nilsa Samol; her brother James Farwell (Jill) of Toms River; her grandchildren, Jesse Sherman, Rebecca Sherman (Darius Fardella), Meredith Marrazzo (Ryan Hart), Emilie Marrazzo (Zachary Humbert) and Meriah Murphy (Connor Schembor); her great grandchildren, Benjamin Corbet, Cole Graf, Nikolas "Niko" Marrazzo and Mikel Hart; and her pets, Simon and Otis.
