He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Grier and Ruth Bell Grier; and his stepson Robert Wortman. He is survived by: his wife Stella; his daughters, Donna Willis (Godfrey) and Keisha Grier; his brother Roosevelt Grier (Cyndee); and his grandchildren, Stella Frederick, Dyshun Durham, Aijiah Grier Wright, Kimberley Wortman, Nicole Willis and Nicholas Willis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
