Lois Polansky Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Polansky of Roselle Park, New Jersey, born in Beaver Meadows, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 26, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Kokinda and Anna Molnar Kokinda; and her sister Mary Ellen K. Simchak of Mount Pocono, PA. She is survived by: her husband Stephen Polansky; her children, Mary A. Polansky (Elizabeth), Stephen J. Polansky of Chesapeake, VA, Louise P. Gerhartz (South River) and Susan P. Kinder of Chesapeake, VA; her siblings, Eugene Kokinda of West Hazleton, PA, James Kokinda of Allentown, PA and Martha K. Beline of Beaver Meadows, PA; her grandchildren, Amy, Benjamin, Matthew, Rebecca, Emily, Nicholas, Adam, Stephen and Michael; and her great grandchildren, Isaac, Ella, Lily, Elihana and Laura.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Byzantine Catholic Eparchy of Passaic Bishop's Appeal.
