He is survived by: his wife Maureen; his daughters, Dawn Wiese (Michael) and Heather Madsen (Jens); his grandchildren, Alyson, Brandon, Mikayla, Arianna, Joshua and Tyler; and his siblings, Roseann LaForte, Robert Merritt (Debbie), Richard Merritt (Cathy), Michael Merritt (Kathy), Janice (Michael) and Donald Merritt (Sharon). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
