He was predeceased by: his parents, Nellie and John of Washington; and his siblings, Jack, Tom, Rich, Eddie, Leo, Joseph, Pat McGarry, Margaret Meier and Eileen of Washington.
He is survived by: his siblings, Gene, Jim, Mike, Frank, Larry, Ellen Sullivan, Mary Matthews, Betty Lahey and Kathy Blaha. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, we know that Bernie would prefer his friends make a contribution to either The New Jersey Firemen's Home in Boonton or the Alpine Learning Group in Paramus, NJ.
