He was predeceased by: his wife Lorraine A. Smart; his daughter Lori Smart; and his brother Thomas Smart. He is survived by: his children, Lorraine, William P. Smart (Jacki), Stephen Smart, Edward James Smart (Eveline) and Amy Skala (Pete); his grandchildren, Matthew, Robert, Brian, Heather, Dylan, Gabriella, Ashley and Bob; and his great grandchildren, Emersyn, Lucas, Lori Rose, Maddy, Colin, Parker, Brayden, Sadie, Paisley, Lucy and Rylie.
