He is survived by: his close friend Anneliese Kovach; his children, Virginia Jakimowicz (Patrick), Elisabeth Godlesky (Richard), Daniel Kovach (Susan), John Kovach (Geralyn), Anneliese Nault (David) and Thomas Kovach; his grandchildren, Michael Kovach, William Kovach, Christopher Kovach, James Jakimowicz, Andrew Jakimowicz, Anneliese Meloni, Laura Godlesky, Christine Teixeira, Timothy Kovach, Gabriel Kovach, Melanie Nault and Sarah Nault; his great grandchildren, Anneliese Kovach, Mary Kovach, Michael Kovach, Sophia Meloni, Amelia Meloni, Kayden Godlesky, Benjamin Teixeira, Joseph Perkins, Anthony Perkins and Nathan Kovach; his sister Mary Kovach; and his daughters-in-law, Amy Kovach and Mary McAloon.
