With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Tinessa of Roseland, New Jersey, born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on December 16, 2023 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Melchiore Giacalone; and her siblings, Sadie Underwood, Joseph and Frank Giardino. She is survived by: her husband Peter Tinessa; her children, Anne Alloway (Richard), Robert Giacalone (Terri), John Giacalone (Lisa) and Richard Giacalone (Michelle); and her grandchildren, Lindsay Gonnello (Larry), Steven Miller (Melissa), Alexa Giacalone, Sydney Giacalone and John Paul Giacalone. She is also survived by five loving great-grandchildren.
