We are sad to announce that on October 9, 2018, at the age of 84, Lorraine Smart (Roseland, New Jersey), born in Camden, New Jersey passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lorraine Smart to pay them a last tribute.
After her children were grown, she owned a wicker company, renting the front space of Fairchild"s Market. She was a member of the Roseland United Methodist Church, singing in their choir. Later she joined the Calvary Evangelical Free Church and has been a member since 1973. She is pre-deceased by her daughter, Lori Smart and her sister, Nancy Alex. Surviving is her beloved husband of 63 years, William Smart, devoted children, William P. (Jacki), Stephen, Edward James (Eveline), and Amy Skala (Petr); cherished grandchildren, Matthew, Robert, Brian, Heather, Dylan, Gabriella, Ashley, and Bob; loving great-grandchildren, Emersyn, Lucas, Lori Rose, Maddy, Colin, Parker, Brayden, Sadie, and Paisley; brother, Peter Atkinson. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Roseland First Aid Squad.
