It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jolan Stierle of Roseland, New Jersey, born in Passaic, New Jersey, who passed away on August 20, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Haydu (Edward) and Stierle (Brud); and her siblings, Dorothy Schlacter, Sylvia Stoffers, Barbara Blake, Stephen Haydu and Joseph "Gubby" Haydu.

She is survived by: her brother George Haydu; her sister-in-law Kathleen Haydu; and her husband Ed. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, god children, grand nieces and grand nephews, and many long time friends.

“Dear Ed, George and Kathleen Haydu; and Yolan's extended family: I am one of the daughters of William (Bill) and Marguerite Haydu of Alberta, Canada, and wish to extend my heartfelt sympathy on Jolan's passing. I would love to have met her and visited with her. I recall a photograph capturing a visit my father had with his uncle Stephen and Aunt Sophie and family back in the early 1940's in Roseland when he got leave from the Canadian army to visit.
