She was predeceased by: her husband David Soulé Bate; and her daughter Nancy Bayne. She is survived by: her children, Suzanne B. Morris, David S. Bate, Jr. and Catherine B. Bull. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
