He was loved and cherished by many people including: his adoptive father Jack Werfel; his children, Larry (Carol), Katy (Michael Boettinger), Michael (Iryna) and Rockaway; his grandchildren, Taylor Werfel, Paul Werfel, Bobbie Boettinger, Matthew Werfel and Dylan Guttman; and his wife Celeste.
