He was predeceased by : his parents, Martin Mashberg (Mitya) and Jennie Mashberg (Genia Granofsky); his son, Marc Mashberg, and wife, Edna Mashberg. He is survived by : his daughter Debra Mashberg; and his siblings, Michael Mashberg and Henrietta "Eda" Nelle.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the charities of one's choice.
