He was predeceased by: his father Robert Lee; his siblings, Ivory, Ira, Tivis, Archie, Bertha, Pearl, Monnie, Phyllis and May; and his great grandchildren, Braydon and Maxwell.
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his daughters, Tammie (Robert Cruser), Ronda (Carl Bamberger), Mary (George Moore) and Sara (Matthew Rutch); his siblings, Olvie Gene Sowards, Robert Sowards, Lexie Johnson and Boleina Scaggs; his grandchildren, Amber, Shelby, Dakota, Alissa, Hunter, Romeo and Keanu; and his great grandchild Payton. He is also survived by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations are made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105.
