She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius "George" Luteran and Anna Marie Stankosh; and her siblings, George, Anna, Lewis, Barbara and Joseph.

She is survived by: her husband William E. Burton; her daughters, Pat, Diane, Barbara and Florence; and her siblings, Elizabeth Tynan of Hackettstown, Frances Bachert, Adam Luteran of Blairstown and Dorothy Whitehead of New York.
