It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert James Duffy of Rockaway, New Jersey, born in Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on September 25, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Duffy and Elizabeth Duffy (Fowler); his wife Clare Duffy (Sheridan); and his siblings, Florence, Gertrude, Jean, Doris, John, William and Bernard.
He is survived by: his children, James R. Duffy (Linda) of Sarasota, FL, Kathleen Bourke (Michael) of Roxbury, NJ, Maureen Sparano (Dominic) of Annandale, NJ and Doreen Carriere (Richard) of Stroudsburg, PA.; his grandchildren, James, Jennifer, Susan (James), Tricia, Michael, Maureen (Kathleen), Amy, Tommy (Maureen), Richard and Brian (Doreen); and his great grandchildren, Jadan, Brennan, John, Drew, Ryan, Grayson, Declan, Annie, River (James), Izabella, Rocco, Filamena, Angelo (Kathleen), Scarlett and Rowen (Maureen).
