She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father John Widmer Shauger; her stepmother Gertrude Shauger; her stepsisters, Shirley and Dottie; her children, Michael Giannetti (late Karen), Linda Pinto (late James), Debra Anderson (Carl), Robert Giannetti (Beverly), John Giannetti (Cathe), James Giannetti (Jennifer) and Sue VanderSchans (Garry); her grandchildren, Stephanie, Christopher, Jillian, Anthony, Robert, David, Casey, Bjorn, Sten, Kiira, Shannon, Melissa, Amy, Regina, Samantha and Joe; and her great grandchildren, Harper, Zayne, Oscar, Thomas, Michael, Miles, Layla, Luna, Torben and Nikolas.
