He was predeceased by: his wife Mary "Gayle" Britt; and his parents, Edward J. Britt and Genevieve Britt. He is survived by: his children, Eddie J. (Maggie Britt), Kathy (Joe Donohue), Janeann (Gary Knapp) and Jackie (Bill Ryan); his grandchildren, JD, Jacqueline, Michael, Molly, Mickey, Sean, Billy, Annie and Maeve; his sister Nancy (Charlie Moran); and his sisters-in-law, Dolores and Monica Cowley.
