It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Manuel G. Almeida of Rockaway, New Jersey, born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on March 8, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Susan (Matarazzo); his children, Nicholas Almeida (Maureen), Melissa Basanyi (Steven) and Stefanie Santiago (Roberto); his grandchildren, Isabella, Jordan, Neeko, Gabriel, Bianca, Elijah, Jakob, Joshua, Evan, Amara, Cecilia and Julian; his siblings, Joseph Almeida (Maria), Aida Neto (Filipe) and Joanne Alberto (Vitor); his stepchildren, Carmela, Vincent and Jennifer; and his stepgrandchildren, Samantha, Luca, Avery, Giuliana, Carmine and Lucia.
