It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen Agnes Carey of Rockaway, New Jersey, born in New York, New York, who passed away on November 16, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John J. Carey and Veronica Carey; her sister Ann Marie Carey; and the father of her children John H. Attas Jr.. She is survived by: her children, John Attas of Ellenton, FL, Karen Solimando (Vincent), Brian Attas (Jill) and Barbara Matteis (Salvatore); her siblings, John (Karen), Maureen Tuccio of Cranford, NJ, Eileen Allen (Wayne) of Middletown, NY, William (Madeleine) and Michael Carey (Christine) of Paramus, NJ.; her grandchildren, Deanna, Vincent, Brian, Dominic, Nicole, Valentina, Salvatore and Sean; and her great grandchildren, Anastasia, Madison, Michael, Braxton and Auriella. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
