He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Acree and Helen Acree; and his brother Mike Whalen. He is survived by: his significant other Judy Lastra of Rockaway; his son Joseph Acree, III (Victoria); his grandsons, Aidan of Kansas City, KS and Joseph IV of Kansas City, KS; his stepdaughter Tina Goldenberg (Eitan); his stepgrandchildren, Maya, Allie, Quinn of Rockaway, Diana Filipski (John) and Fred Lastra (Erin) of Rockaway; his sister Connie Whalen (Mike) of La Grange, KY.; and also Emma of Rockaway.
