With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Henry Attas Jr. of Rockaway, New Jersey, who passed away on October 24, 2021 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Attas, Sr. and Ruth Attas; and his brothers, James, Michael and Daniel.
He is survived by: his close friend Patricia Hoover; his brother Peter Attas of Severn, MD; and his children, John P. Attas of Ellenton, FL, Karen Solimando (Vincent), Brian Attas (Jill) of Hopatcong, NJ, Barbara Matteis (Salvatore) of Budd Lake, NJ, Laura Lloyd (Timothy) of Wayne, NJ and Jennifer Zagorski of Rockaway, NJ.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and Charlie, his beloved cat.
